| The Friends of the Walworth-Seely
Public Library (WSPL) is based in Walworth, NY, a town of approximately
9,000 people located in western Wayne County between Lake Ontario
and the southern tier. While mostly rural and known for apple growing
and other agriculture, we also have wonderful neighborhoods. Several
different school districts service the children here in Walworth.
The Walworth-Seely Public Library is located at the Town Hall Complex
on Lorraine Drive, just east of the Routes 350 and 441 intersection
at the top of a hill. At the bottom of the hill is the beautiful Ginegaw
Park. During the summer of 2007, many community members got together
and volunteered to build a new playground at the park and added some
slides at the adjacent soccer fields too.
